The Huda Social Front Trust is a cultural, apolitical and welfare non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been operating since 2006 and was registered in 2008.
The organization strives to uplift deprived individuals in society through a variety of programs.
Starting from a very humble beginning with the sole purpose of serving the vulnerable sections of society. Our thematic areas are:

Mustaqeem Makki

1898 – 1985

Mustaqeem Makki is a prominent social activist, who has dedicated his life to the betterment of society. A businessman by profession is no less than an Islamic Scholar. He runs a tour and travel agency in Mumbai. Besides this, he is also the owner, publisher and editor of “HUDA TIMES” monthly magazine and daily newspaper.  He had spent over 25 years of life with the renowned Islamic Scholars and Jurists at Makkah Mukarramah, where he owned and operated a garment business. His association with these Islamic Scholars helped him to develop his intellect and broaden his perspective.

Since his childhood, Mustaqeem Makki has been gifted with a strong sense of empathy and a desire to serve humanity. Over the years, he has tirelessly advocated for various social causes, including education, healthcare, and human rights.

 

Mustaqeem Makki is widely respected for his unwavering commitment to social justice and his ability to inspire others to take action. His extensive experience in the field of social activism has made him a valuable asset to his community, and he continues to work tirelessly to create positive change in the world.

 

In addition to his social activism, Mustaqeem Makki also has a deep love for the Urdu language and has been passionate about promoting it throughout his career. To further this goal, he decided to publish a magazine entitled “Huda Times” of international standards that would showcase the beauty and richness of the Urdu language and literature to a wider audience. Through his tireless efforts, Mustaqeem Makki was able to bring together a team of talented writers, editors, and designers to create a truly exceptional publication. The magazine quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality content and innovative design, attracting readers from all over the world. He brings out a daily newspaper with the same title in the Urdu language.

 

Mustaqeem Makki’s dedication to promoting the Urdu language and culture and serving humanity has made a lasting impact on the community, inspiring a new generation. His magazine continues to be a valuable resource for those seeking to learn more about the Urdu language and literature, and his legacy as a promoter of cultural exchange and social service will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
